I’m an undergraduate student in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder (expected May 2027), with a minor in Geography. My interest in Earth systems and climate stems from growing up in Colorado and witnessing the Marshall Fire firsthand — an experience that shaped my focus on watershed science, snowpack hydrology, and climate data systems.

I currently work as a Student Assistant at NOAA/NCEI through CIRES, where I manage multibeam bathymetry datasets under the supervision of Kevin Lally. I also developed snotelpy, an open-source Python package that provides a modern interface to USDA SNOTEL snowpack data via the NRCS AWDB REST API, using xarray as the core data structure for national-scale station coverage. The package is published on PyPI and includes full documentation and a Zenodo DOI.

My research interests center on snow hydrology, ocean–atmosphere interactions, and climate observation systems. I’m applying to PhD programs in oceanography and Earth/environmental sciences for Fall 2027, including programs at UW, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, OSU CEOAS, and the University of Hawaii.
