Projects
-
snotelpy
Open-source Python package providing a modern interface to USDA SNOTEL snowpack data via the NRCS AWDB REST API, using xarray as the core data structure for national-scale station coverage. Co-developed with Eric Gosnell; originated as a final project for ATOC 4815/5815.
- Published to PyPI and GitHub with full documentation site
- Archived with Zenodo DOI for reproducibility
- Uses xarray for N-dimensional labeled array support across all SNOTEL stations
-
Atmospheric Data Analysis (ATOC 4815/5815)
Python-based analysis of weather station and CAM model NetCDF data using xarray, cartopy, and MetPy; projects included temperature anomaly detection and multi-panel scientific visualization.
